I'm on my way!
In case anyone decides to meet tonight: There is slight change in plan, given it's just me I'll be camped 200 feet from the Spence Trail Head rather than the larger site 1/2 mile down the trail.
Weather is still looking great (but not cold enough to test cold weather gear).
I THOUGHT GETTING OLDER WOULD TAKE MUCH LONGER.
I'll be heading out before first light tomorrow morning to meet up with millergear. See you all soon.
Still deciding which hammock and tarp to bring. I'm looking forward to the hike and the BREAKFAST!
Take a lot of pics, guys. My new UQ showed up today, (thanks TMONT!) and I am going to set it up in the backyard and hang for a while. REALLY wish I was up there right now.
It could be that the purpose of my life is merely to serve as a warning to others.
