    rockywoods outdoor fabric online, sells a 1/16" black nylon cord i think, and you may be able to find something like a 1-2mm accessory cord at a climbing shop.

    Paracord with the inner core removed works good, too. Kinda spendy use for it, though.

    IMO, you can use about anything for a drawcord really. Because it's cheap and easily obtainable from plenty of souces, both online and local, I like to use 550 cord with the center lines pulled out of it and heat sealed on the ends. Add a cord lock from your local outfitter and you're set.

    well, owfinc has what I need, but I was asking which one I would want to get. so about 3/16" nylon is good?

    Yup, 3/16" (2mm-ish) usually works fine for most cord locks.

    the pisi grip cord lock is the bomb digity. it has sharpish edges that bite onto thc cord, they hold alot more force before they slide. good for drawstrings that might be put under tension, like on a uq suspension or something.
