SOLD: BushBuddy and SnowPeak 900 Ti

That's right... I am selling my BushBuddy and SnowPeak 900 Ti set.

This is BRAND NEW... NEVER used.

It just turns out that everywhere, out here in Southern California, will not allow any Non-Pressurized stoves. So while I really love the idea of this stove... I will never get to use it, without having to look over my shoulder hoping I don't get cuaght.

I am willing to sell it for COST with free shipping.

    Regular BushBuddy (not the Ultra)

Asking $140.00 Shipped for both (CONUS).
    Paypal Gift Please

If only you had posted this a week ago...

I just got my SnowPeak 900 Ti in the mail the day before yesterday, and I am still waiting on my regular BushBuddy. It certainly does take a while for that stove to make it down to Florida from Iskut, British Columbia.

    Sorry...

I have been just hoping I would really get to use this... but the reality has set in...

I would be willing to trade this for a ULA pack... maybe either an OHM or CIRCUIT...

    Hey Kokak,

Being new, good price. It is nice to see people other than myself and a few others not doing massive mark down on top of the line gear, just to try to sell it fast. These top quality products deserve to have what we put into them rejustified back into our pockets at time of sell. The BushBuddy is up there with ULA, Warbonnet, hennessyhammock, Nunatak, GossamerGear and even TarpTent (for the ground dwellers) with companies that put out products that just do not loose value. As somebody who stands firm in not selling my gear from those companies 'for-cheap', I have no problem paying top dollar for gear from somebody direct.

Anyway, that said... if this would have been the Ultra version of the BB I'd have bought this right away. For me though, 1.5 ounces is actually a 'big deal'. I spend hundreds of dollars trying to save an ounce here and there, so for me (and others here) that extra ounce+ just makes me cringe inside. None the less, this is one totally awesome little stove. Anybody out there who is not a gram weenie should pick this up as fast as you can!! Buy this now!!

Hey Kokak, being from down there... what do the law books say about using things such as the MBD mini-atomic (and standard atomic) which could be classified as "pressurized" - if I understand their mechanical properties correctly.

    Thanks.

I'd love to take this off your hands, but I can't buy it 'til about mid-December/early-January. If no one else buys it off you before then, I'll take it, but that's a good bit of equipment that I'm sure will go fast.

My understanding is that it must have an OFF switch/valve. If you can't just simply turn it off, without having to smother it, it's not allowed.

I could be completely wrong, but that's how it was explained to me.

Wow, I used to want to hike the John Muir Trail, now I think I'll just go to the Winds, stupid laws are a lot less common there. I'll bet they even have crazy laws against AR15's there also!

Don't forget the JMT also requires you (by law) to have a bear canister too

Not all of the JMT requires a Bear Canister... but most will. Also, the Bear Canister you carry has to be one that is on their accepted list.

I generally carry the Bear Vault Solo with me on all outings...
