Bug-Net Hybrid for Grizz Bridge

When Grizz sent me the GrizzBridge ..... I took right to it. The bridge was an unknown to me at the time. Since then it has been on a couple of trips with me and will come on more. Especially Bluegrass Festivals ......
I love how my feet lay in it ....... se relaxed.
So I needed a bug-net and watched Grizz's video a while back and ordered bug net from Tree to Tree Trail Gear.........I was inspires ..... tick-tock, tick tock... time went by.
Then I was watching Hangout's and TwoStick's videos. On one series he has a part 2 http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/v...ls&videoid=296 and showed how he did his bug-nets on the bridge hammocks that he created. I loved it and was inspired ... again!
This week I sewed a bit ...... needed the therapy!
Here is the hybrib bug-net inspired by Grizz and Hangout. I do so Thankee Fellers for the motivation.

I need to try the bridge. I'm still having some issues with getting the WBBB consistently where I'm comfy in it, and it has been suggested I try a bridge.

If you don't mind taking advice from a true novice, bridge hammocks make perfect sense. The body of the hammock drapes down from the side suspensions to form a flat surface to lay in. I like to turn a lot when I sleep, and in my DIY gathered end hammock I had to get on the diagonal each time I turned. It would take time to get comfortable each time. I tried a bridge and you simply turn over and you are comfortable again. Also, I could not get into a bridge without dozing off in 10 or 15 minutes.

Call me crazy ..... I like both. Fun to switch out from time to time.
Bridges seem to take a bit more length due to the suspension right off the hammock but it is really a moot point. Same with the poles.
But the comfort is big and I can totally see how some hanger would prefer them
They work as a chair well too!

Did you use omni tape round the edges ?

I like the ridge loop, I might have to borrow that idea and try it on my BMBH net.

No omni tape .... it just free hangs inside ... saw that from Hangout's bug-net. The nylon flaps help that. The TQ then keeps it pushed to the side.

Interesting... I might have to work out something like this for mine, can't stand the omni tape.
