    Excited

I just ordered myself some ripstop from backwoods day dreamer along with some amsteel. I have been inspired by all the information I have found here and am looking forward to making my first DIY hammock.

Right now I am planning to make a hammock with the folded whipping of the hennessy clone along with the tie outs. I think I may move the tie-outs closer to the head and foot, though. I will have to see what's most comfortable.

Anyways, I just had to tell someone cause I am super excited and I wanted to say thanks to all the helpful people who have put valuable information on these forums.

Good luck and keep us posted. Remember, pictures!

I just ordered some hammock making gear from Scott as well. I am making some Christmas present hammocks for a few ground dwelling relatives this year.

Both your orders are due to ship first thing tomorrow morning. Post some pics when you put your stuff together! I love seeing everyone's DIY projects come together.
