Second the Tear Aid for CONUS folks, keep it in my first aid kit.........it is first aid right! The automotive silicon will work if it is the clear window sealer. It is how I seam sealed two of my tarps.

I figure if I can patch a hole in my raft with Tear Aid, it should work on a tarp (or hammock). I'll try the seam sealer for the little pin holes in the tarp.
How that I have my WBBB, I'll be sure to be careful with the zipper.
