So I'm looking to buy a pair of snake skins made out of no see um neting for my Mc Cat Delux with doors. I'm not a big fan of the all nylon ones cause pubbles of water could build up inside and I like the ideah of them being breathable. Any one got a pair their willing to trade or sell. Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

If someone does have a thread injector, I'd be willing to go in on 2 pairs as well... one for a regular Maccat Deluxe tarp and one for my WB Superfly with doors. I'm of course willing to pay.
noseeum doesn't really help for the problem you are trying to avoid.
If the tarp is wet when you slide the noseeum snake skins on, then any water contained inside the folds is going to remain. The water contained inside the folds may eventually dry out if given enough time and dry enough conditions, but then you wouldn't need the tarp anyway.
So, if you want snake skins for the tarp, just use plain old ripstop, the lightest you can find and it will work as well as noseeum.
The only way to really avoid the problem you have/foresee is to use a dry cloth to wipe the tarp down before storage in the snake skins. Not really possible if it is raining when you store the tarp.
Putting the wet tarp into the snake skins for a day or so isn't going to be a problem, just be sure to remove and air out when you get home.
I (& others) believe the snake skins made out of no see um netting do have some advantage.
Sure, it has it's limitations, but far more evaporation takes place during a days hike when a wet tarp rides in an outer, mesh pocket of the pack, in netting snake skins than in silnylon snake skins.
Especially if it's not raining while you hike

I kinda went with slowhikes theory Tired Feet. More moisture (as little as it may be) will pass through netting easire then Nylon. I also figured if it was really drenched then I could drape it over my pack letting more moisture out while I hike, Hang it on a tree when I stop for lunch type of thing. Ring it out. Again I have not used snake skins so well see. I do have a BWWD as well mabey ill get a pair of Nylons for them to compare.. But I figured if any moisture were to get out then it would pass through netting easire then nylon. Only time will tell. cant speak for weight though because I have not weight the two individual materials sepeartly. OOOHHH cant wait till I get my skins.

Okay gang... I'm throwing my hat in to thread-injector ring. I just picked up a 1965 Gimbel's machine that works perfectly and weighs a ton. Simple straight-stitching no zig-zag. Will that do for snake skins? If so, you can send me the material and I'll do them for free. Please keep in mind these will be like my third DIY project save for a few stuff sacks. You have been warned. Let me know.

The catch: Total length of ss is ~130". Tried to use up some remnant tulle. Figured it would be cutting it close. Ended up a bit short for the OES DeLux Spinn.
