Welcome back TeeDee!
A series of articles!?!?!? This is gonna be coooool.
I'm going to go study the Greek alphabet again.
But for 6 articles, it'll be worth it.
Impatiently waiting...
Yeah I can't wait to see the article. After lying in Grizz's bridge hammock at the RRG I have been moving that project up on my to do list. I actually put off making mine until I can see what your articles have to offer.

i put off making an underquilt untill i try making a bridge. if i like it more then i'll customize the UQ for the bridge. and not i'm thinking about this whole bridge-skin thing.
My biased advise: Make a Bridge Hammock first - even easier than making a quilt, top or under.
Making an under quilt for the Bridge is trivial - only hand sewing necessary - of course you can use a sewing machine to do it also.
My article shows how to use a Poncho Liner or rectangular sleeping bag, down or synthetic, to make an under quilt for the bridge Hammock that fits perfectly. Only hand sewing necessary to adapt either - no alterations to the poncho liner or sleeping bag. Using a sewing machine, either can be adapted to fit a Bridge Hammock perfectly in about 15 to 30 minutes. By hand, probably 30 to 45 minutes.

As a new member to this forum it was always frustrating to me that all that was left of your posts were the ones someone else had quoted, normally GrizzlyAdams , it was like getting only half a conversation, like I said frustrating, I am really looking forward to your article, and the conversation it evokes.
Regards
Stephen
