Me too! Talk about expense though...setting up an F800GS just the way you like is painful to the budget. Makes hammock stuff pale in comparison and when the two are combined, the bride is not pleased.

Wonder if I could get a rack to fit a canoe like Red's (dang Red she's purdy!)?

I thought this was a desktop sculpture. You're saying this is a full-sized canoe and a real tree? That's awesome.

Beautiful shot. I really like those clouds on the horizon.

Thanx Trooper, Yep all real stuff. Just set like a 30 sec. shutter speed and got busy light'n stuff up with the flash light. It was a lot of fun.

My avatar is from Moab, UT just south of Arches National Park. This was a repel off of a 100' arch.

    Red,
yeah I too thought that your current avatar was one of a bonsai tree...but now I can see that it is entirely different. I was only wondering why you didn't bring that beeeeeautiful canoe up to the Manistee River last weekend for an adventureous run down the record low water.

Paul I wish I knew how you guys were blowing those avatars up and posting them for others to see.

Wow, very cool MuseJr! I didn't know that was legal! I suppose some arches are more protected than others, perhaps. I think that would be an awesome experience.

I almost crawled out to the edge. Walking on a 6' wide arch with nothing on either side puts a little fear in you.

Arches National Park is pics only. If you are messing around in the park, prepare to pay. We went south of the park and hiked in to the arch. It's worth the time.
