Why have to wait til next year. Love hiking the Smokies in the winter. In January Pigeon Forge puts on its Wilderness Wildlife Week, a full week of guided hikes, workshops and seminars all FREE including transport to and from trailheads!

Time & money. I would love to go to the wilderness week, that would be awesome. I would rather hike & camp in cooler weather. I will have to stay a little closer to home for a while. I am about 6 hours from the park. I am at the wrong end of the state.
