Does anyone know what the general weight difference would be between the 800 and 900fp? Or will it just add extra warmth and lower the temp rating a bit?

    Same weight used in down.
Just loft's a bit more, hence more warmth.

There should not be a weight difference. Just a slight warmth and loft difference. It might pack just a little smaller too.

    Triptease,

You may want to order a winter crowsnest from Adam.... To order a Winter Nest you will have to go to Jacks 'R' Better.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

    Pan is correct!

The name "Crowsnest" was bestowed to the first 3/4 length under quilt I designed by a small group of fellow forum members while on a hike in Linville Gorge. The name is obviously derived from my trail name (Stormcrow). When I mentioned to them that it might cause some confusion in the hammock community...well, they convinced me to go with it because they were going to call it that anyway. Admittedly, it might not have been the best direction for the name.

The Original Nest and Winter Nest over at JRB are indeed fine pieces of craftsmanship. They are designed for the split bottom of a Hennessy Hammock entrance and they are proven many times over to get the job done.

    I apologize for any confusion.

One of the reasons I enjoy this forum is the high levels of respect product competitors show for each other.

Amac, I completely agree. I very recently had dealings with Adam and through it all he showed great patience (a lot of questions), was always available (picked up everytime I called), completely professional, and in the end went far and above what he needed to to help me out (even though he didn't have to).
I cannot say enough good things about him, his product and his company. An absolutely great experience. Thank you again Adam. You made my week!
