picked up something interesting at menards its called a sherpa its a poncho type thing with a light fleece liner. What i liked was the dimensions and the fact that the head hole velcros and zips together. It just needs some grossgrain loops and some shock cord make a decent summer quilt.

I have a "Go! Blanket" branded one that looks identical to this, keep it in the car as an emergency blanket/poncho/cushion. With the nylon bottom it's handy for laying down at concerts and such.

Don't know about the Sherpa but my Go Blanket weighs right around 32oz if I recall correctly. I've used it in the hammock during summer just in the backyard as a top quilt, before I got my JRB quilt. The nylon + fleece combo cuts wind pretty nicely so it might work well as a cheap underquilt, especially at $9.99
