    I remember adding the Thermadrape to a weathershield a couple of years ago .... warm as could be but a LOT of moisture.
    That is just weird....

    I've gotten moisture with the JRB Driducks weather shield too.

    Have people experienced condensation with the IX UQ? I would think that would have more if it didn't breathe. Is it possible, the nylon shell is preventing the breathing?

    I got condensation from an IX TQ that had no cover.

    I've used both silnylon and breathable nylon shells on 3/4 IX UQs, without condensation, in temps well above freezing. Perhaps one key to avoiding condensation is to prevent overheating.

    It is a great addition to the poncho liner also. I have PLUQ & PLTQ. That is only good to upper 40's. I add my IXUQ & IXTQ and I have been comfy below 30.
