I did a crazy thing and Anodized my walmart grease pot. I bought an Imusa grease pot and didn't anodize it... I put them both outside for a week 1/2 full of water and had some crazy corrosion effects on the UN anodized pot. (Whoo Buddy!)

My anodized pot does get stained a bit, but nothing like the raw one.

Is your pot all aluminum, or does it have a steel handle? All non-aluminum must be removed prior to anodization...

john i beileve that it is all aluminun. the misses told me that it most likely water stained

If it's the one with no handle, it can be anodized...

I'd have to get it cleaned (inside and out) to a shine. A green pot scrubber and soapy water work well.
