Almost 5, my first was an early model Clark jungle hammock. I use an HH ultralight now, with a newer Clark NA for cold weather. I've converted two of my hiking buds to hammock hangers- pass the word!
A little over a year. I was one of the first members on this site when it was created. Man it has come a long way.

I started Summer of 2001 with a mesh hammock from Campmor, upgraded to a Hennessy in the Summer of 2002. Oh the memories of that first hammock

i bought my 1st ENO in late winter of 05.
I too will something make and joy in it's making
I always carried at least a net hammock while backpacking as a boy scout.
On warm nights I would just sleep in it, instead of my tent.
I did not really realize that following and the options that Hammock Camping had until just recently (about 2 years ago)
Hooked ever since.
