    cant email arrowhead, maybe someone can answer this

    can my existing KAQ be upgraded to a 4 season quilt?

    Hey Crawldaddy, First how come you can't email? Been getting tones of them today....

    Second, No we really do not have a way to change a 3 season quilt to a 4 season, they are 2 separate weights of insulation, to change them out would take removing the current insulation and re-sewing the new in. It would be far more work than a whole new quilt, and there for more cost than an entire new 4 season would.

    Could a summer quilt be combined with a 3 season to be the same weight? Dunno the thought just occurred to me.

    try it out, you might get one quilt compressing the other and reducing insulation, or you might get sag and thus CBS (cold butt syndrome)
