Funny you should mention it, he asks to be moved from the left side (where he could shelter from the wind) to the right side (where he could see the lake better) on Sunday, so I made the switch. He graciously let me wear his HF Buff Sunday because he was still in his quilt.

    Something about inhaling vigorously....

That little bear worries me sometimes. But he definitely entertained Hooch on this hike!

I'm not the same caliber hiker trash Bearpaw is, but I had a great time on this hike. Bearpaw and Dewey were great to hike with and made the miles a lot of fun. I'd gladly hike with y'all again. One of the best hikes I've ever been on, thanks again for the invite!

It was really nice to have you. You're the only person other than my wife and one long-time coworker that I've backpacked with in over six years. For me, it's just solo or family usually. I had a great time.

    Great report guys.

I have wanted to do that hike for quite a while. It is one that I missed when I was doing the Smokies.

The photos inspire me to want to get there again.

Another great report and photo spread ... and as painful as it is to admit it was great seeing Hooch's smiling face! Sounds like you fellers had a great time! Thanks for sharing it.
