    crowsnest has landed

well i just got the last piece of gear that i "needed". i'm so excited to use the crowsnest next time i'm out (hopefully friday!). i received excellent customer service from the crows. i waffled from a winter to a 3 season and they gladly made the change for me - working with me the whole process.

i'd happily recommend this product and company to anyone...

Is this a kit from Stormcrow/Hammockgear.com? He's the only one I know of with a UQ called a crowsnest. I've never seen a kit on his website.

"Kit" is also a reference to a complete gear set-up...or the british might say 'a bit of kit' instead of "a piece of gear"- possibly related to 'the whole kit and kaboodle' meaning everything needed or available.

Thanks KerMegan for the linguistic tip. That clarifies it for me. I do pay attention to where folks are located, but when I saw PA in the user box I didn't think about "kit" having a different meaning.

It's great that there are so many folks from all over the world on the HF. Another reason that makes this such a great place.

Swoosh--I know you'll enjoy your UQ.

    Time to receive

Just curious, how long from the time you ordered until the time you received it?
