Well for all the SoCal Hangers how about a winter hang in Big Bear. Maybe the last weekend of February?
I'll be out with my troop anyway so I thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone wants to join us.
There maybe enough snow for snowshoes.

Hard to say this far out, but sounds good, I am usually in big bear a couple times a month

Not sure if I can swing that, but I just got back 3 hours ago: weather was AWESOME!
Had snow on Wed/Thursday, got down into the teens the last two nights.
Realistically, I don't have gear to get me into the teens... Where will you be hanging? State park or off in the woods?

Not sure if my gear can get me into the teens either. What campsite? Any other permits or reservation needed besides an adventure pass? I've gotten down to 40 degrees with my 3/4 IX UQ and sock, but getting any lower would require an upgrade of some sort (my next acquisition will be a sleeping back that can be used pod-style.) I would be interested in the hang though.

Big Bear has a lot of yellow post sites that are free first come first serve, you just need an adventure pass for each vehicle. I usually ground camp at these (just getting my hammock) They all have fire pits, and sometimes a picnic table. They are fairly well secluded for being able to get to them in most trucks or SUV with ground clearance. A few are even car accessible.
it may be rough getting cars to the yellow post sites as last time i was up in winter they close van dusen to autos. BUT serrano camp ground is usually pretty empty with plenty of trees. (went there after turkey day and it was deserted). Holcolmb valley would be an option if van dusen canyon is open. Ive got an old 67 bronco so i can make it most places back there but others may have trouble. this is all assuming yall wanna car camp. I would be interested in either car camping or backpacking in.... just gotta get wife's ok.
