    Thumbs up Hurray for HammockGear

I got my winter burrows and winter incubators yesterday, and they're wonderful. Just wonderful. The arrival coincides well with -18° Celcius outside (about 0°F). I'm definately going into the woods tonight!

Thank you hammockgear for wonderfull customer service and great products

Takk for det. Jeg har hatt noen himmelske netter og forsovet meg til sjøørretfiske flere ganger.
Thank you. I've had some heavenly nights and overslept for sea trout fishing several times.

I still love the incubator/burrow winter combo and I'll probably continue using the winter editions well into our pretty cold summer

Very cool indeed, Hammock Gear makes some nice and warm toasty quilts. What average temps do you hang in in your neck of the woods? Ill be looking forward to some trip reports in the future.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Temperatures range from -20° to +25° Celcius around here (south of Norway) depending on season, so it's not too bad. It can get alot colder up north. On winter trips where we're not carrying stuff more than a few hundred meters, or go by canoe, I prefer camping in a huge heavy lavvu with a big stove. On "carrying-trips" I'm all hammock now. Never slept better in the great outdoors than in a hammock. The ideal setup for winter would be to have the hammock inside the lavvu, but that's not something I can envision right now without HUGE modifications

Added 2 images from a fishing trip with some ground dwellers from before I got my lovely quilts
