Nice rig!
Nice rig!
I must say I'm jealous and envious of the fine looking rig set up there Mr. Thewild. Looking forward to trying out my winter crowsnest soon. My next purchase will have to be indubitably either the 3 season or winter borrow. think it'll be the 3 season.
Those some beatiful looking quilts and some great scenery. Makes me yearn for my 3 season incubator to arive and gets me xited to break out my winter crows nest and burrow. And yes Adam sure does make some pretty fine looking quilts.
And with a winter incubator and 3S Burrow I wouldent think you'd have much of a problem getting into the 20's. The winter set keept me warm down to 7 last year and I know the 3S Burrow is rated down to 15-20 depending on the phill. If you do get some cold spots a light layer of long johns and a thin long sleeve IMHO would certainly keep you warm. But dont take my word for it in the woods a back yard test never hurts.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.
Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
guys whats the SKAHOw?
The Wild, my man, well done on the purchase (and final release!) of some niece set of kit! Congratulations! I'm very much looking forward to seeing everything in action next weekend and rest assured I'll bring a good selection of toys too, so we can "share & compare".
All the best and till then, saupacker

Sorry dudes, only in Swedish (so far).
looks almost as big as a peapod!
how much did customs charge you????
Thanks for the pics----love seeing different places, though your snow looks like my snow
Snow looks like mine too, but does anyone know where the white goes when the snow melts?
Got my WI on Saturday, set up in the dark, in pouring rain on Sunday to do a backyard test with new Super Fly - rain, very windy - I had to bail back to the house as water was either running down the ridge or leaking in through the ridge seam - then the cold front came through and 6" of new snow and single digit temps. Currently 4 degrees F.
Funny, it's currently 4F in Bristol now too....I'd bet at home it's -8F and I'll be there later this evening! MBird---does this tarp have a pole mod? Reason I ask, I had a tarp leak where the center pole tie off is in the middle of the seam...had to seal it up. I think it was the same tarp you carried across Maine
Where DOES the white go? !
