    Four dog,
What do you think the safety factor is?
    Will the plastic ignite?
Or is this a "stay awake" shelter?

    I like the idea.
Time to go some burn tests on sil, PU, and plastic sheeting..

Safe anuff that my 9 year old grandson will be sleeping in it to night.

The poly just melts and acts as spark protecter to your hammock, bedding and tarp.

Good fire skills are a must and you keep the fire 4-5' feet from the plastic.
The shelter and fire runs parella to wind.

It realy dosn't take that large of fire to work.

Slept in that type of primitive shelter for 5 years a temps to -30*F and never had fire problem.

My "Guru" Mors who developed it has done it for 15 years +.

I've helped teach for 5 years and the students have had no problem.

Will make video if you like.

Haha - I think you misunderstood, fourdog. Facebook has a feature where you click "LIKE" next to someone's entries...then it counts up how many people liked and disliked that entry. You said, "...if you like." He was saying that he would "like" it but he couldn't find the button. He wants you to post the video!

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was trying to make a funny. I would very much enjoy it if you made a video.

Another request for a video here! And also where did you get the reflective nylon material for the tarp??

+1 on the video! Where did you get the reflective tarp? Did you make it?
Sticks and stones may break your bones, but I camp in a hammock!
