    Home...

    ...is where you hang it.

Instead of getting a hotel room I hung out back of the office in the warehouse. Slept like a baby with a Wally world foam pad and light weight wood blend blanket underneath, and another of the same type wool blanket on the top.

Kind of cool looking place to end up hanging for the night TNrat. With any luck nobody will drive the forklift off while you're sleeping.

Yeah, I was going to ask if you took the key out of the fork lift before snoozing. Looks like just the kind of situation that some people take advantage of to break the boredom at work
I too will something make and joy in it's making

Did you get to turn off the lights? How did you manage that?

All by my lonesome so I didn't worry about the key. The lights stayed on all night in half the building so I would not have to worry with a flashlight. It's safer that way since the restroom is on the other side of the small room.

Coworker hijinks is an excellent motivation for getting up in the morning.

Ha do you get to keep your per diem? I have done that before. Slept in the office to keep 100$ a night!

CSX is still on a per diem as I understand it. The accountants put us on the good ole American Express years ago so you couldn't take extra money home.

We now have to show a receipt for even a cup of coffee, and maintain copies in the event of an audit. I keep my expenses low doing stuff like this and they want to audit me.
