I can honestly say I never have...all though it's something to think about, heh heh. Problem is, I'm not a camp ground hammocker so where would I plug it in at?

Does a TLUD wood-stove count? If so, then ya, I have! But I was boiling water...for two hours.

Years ago when i worked/lived in the bush, in my tent days, i had a propane light that i would use in the tent. It would throw off allot of heat before bedtime and in the morning to get up for work. Since getting back into the woods a couple of yrs ago and switching to hammocks i've been gas free,,,,well sort of

I don't, but Genuine Draft often forces me into 'heater duty' when we are camping in cool temps. I'm just about to the point I'm only going to bring one hammock on those trips. Mine is usually set-up and empty after about midnight.

If Their was one that was energy enficient enough and light enough ya bet ya, but the couple of times ive gone well no I did not use one. But I do enjoy the hot water bottle in my TQ, or if winter car camping some hand warmers or any other trick I learn about on this site to keep my keaster warm .
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
