Just went surfing and found this site.

The guy lines are highly visible and those guy runner cleats look pretty easy to use, anyone have experience with them, good or bad?
Also I just saw a suggestion on a site for winter or sandy soil pitching. If you use the v type stakes, in the snow or sand make a trench as long as your stake is high then put your guy around the stake center and lay it on its side in the trench, you may have to make the trench in a T so that somet of the guy line can go straight down with it the V in the stake should hold it. I never saw this before I'll have to try it the next time I go out, very interesting. Of course I'm from the northern rocky soil area but I will definately try it in the snow just hope I don't have to end up having to chisel through the ice to get my stake back, lol.
