    New name!

    Hi there!

I´m not new to this game, been a member since 2008 BUT I´ve changed my username from peter1969 to Bieggolmai.

Since I come from the north of Sweden I wanted to have a name that was connected to this part of the globe and therefore changed my username to the Sami windgod Bieggolmai.

Hope this will bring nice weather upon me

A warm welcome (back) to you Bieggolmai, but I am going to miss Peter1969 .

BTW, love the HHG quote. I actually named my sailboat the Heart of Gold.

Awesome. You should take a picture of yourself holding two shovels as your avatar

    Bieggolmai,
I changed my name to WV because WVhammockmaker was too cumbersome for other posters to write and difficult for repeated personal introductions at hammock gatherings. Did the windgod have a nickname?

I'm going to attempt to remember the spelling of your new name, though. Can you give me a phonetic spelling so I can hear it properly in my head? Who knows? We may introduce ourselves at a hang sometime.

I will try to take such a picture, perhaps at the SKAHOw in the end of january. Meanwhile I´ve got a handmade avatar....

I don´t think I have a nickname that´s short and easy to remember. I´ll give it a thought though.

I think it would be beneficial if we could change our trailnames on this site without starting over and adding a brand new account.

You can. Just PM a mod. Assuming nobody else is using the name, it can be changed and you keep all of your stats.

    And so it starts.

Welcome to the new and improved Bieggolmai. Oh yea, and all hail too.
