    Whats your budget?

Two person backpacking tent under $100 is possible but it won't be the best out there....

Go to sierra trading post. Sign up on the dealflyer, wait a day or two to get a coupon, surf the tents available there and you'll get about the best deal you can find on some relatively decent tents.

I have a Mountain Hardware Light Wedge2 that's around 8 years old. It's in perfect shape and was used maybe 6-7 times total. Weight is around 5lbs thought, but it's a bombproof
mountaineering tent for two people. Color is a blueish green. I would sell this to you for $75 including shipping, assuming you are in the USA.

Email me at [email protected] if you are interested.

    I think I still have one of those bio-de-grade-able 2 man tents . . .

    . . . it was put out on the lawn one day . . . and . . .

. . . it's real cheap . . . ya just gotta come by and help me find it .

Heck, I'd just give it to you . . .

I have a Vaude Hogan Ultralight that I'd sell for $125 shipped in the lower 48. It has the footprint.

There's a seam tear where someone stumbled and fell into it one night a couple of years ago, but it's in excellent shape other than that. The tear is in the tent itself -- not the fly -- so it's still watertight.

Here it is beside my motorcycle the last time I used it -- in May. It rained buckets -- and sideways -- that weekend, and I stayed dry.
