    108" tulle

Received couple sample cuts from tulledirect. Charcoal color tulle seems identical to the black WM stock, but it is 108" wide. One less seam to sew on the bug socks.

Hang it outside for a few days and check it for UV resistance.
The last tulle I got from wally's, did not do well. Got brittle after a few hangs and ripped easily thereafter.

That's my biggest fear about using Tulle. Day 3 of week long trip in mossie land. Opps, no bug net. Starting to think tulle is good for making prototypes, then spend the $$s on some real no-see-um. For snakeskins failure would only be a minor inconvenience.

Tulle is very stiff in it's marketed form. It is used for bows and veils and structural pieces for formal wear and wedding dresses. Wash it good and proper several times to wash the sizing out of it and will be less "brittle" but it is still not as durable as some other options IMO. Chiffon is droopy but tough. Organza kind of falls in between. But none of those would generally be available beyond 60" in my experience.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.
