I have a spector detector i'm bringing......and I recently purchased one of the ghost grabbers on e-bay from one of the ghost busters....LOL

On a serious note, I spoke to a biologist ( and friend ) that is with the DNR, he told me they had found some very interesting things ( metal ) up on the hill about 4 years ago. appearently they found an old flintlock pistol, some lead balls, an old metal cup and some old coins....

I am heading out for the woods tonight for a "shack down " of the new stuff i got....Want to make sure it is woods worthy before I hike a few miles and find out it dont.

Mule, I have some cold hard cash for you my friend...I'll give it to you at the hang if thats ok...And my son's friend whom we outfitted last month wants a set....he is coming with us on the hang.

Getting excited....gonna be a great time.

I do tons of work for the DoD and other federal agencies. the Navy just called me and ordered 10 times the amount of product from me today.....I asked why so much...he told me cause at midnight they have no money...
I was in the Navy, and have many friends still active....I pray for them and You that it all works out and no one has to be with out......

It means I would be put in a nonpay status and be at home until they pass a budget or resolution. It would be up to congress to allow backpay or not. I'm not bailin on the trip unless it's absolutely called for. Gas prices the way they are and the possibility of no pay would mean I couldn't justify spending $100 or so on gas. Plus I was plannin on takin leave thurs and friday and if we get furloughed then all paid leave is supposed to be cancelled.

As I recall from last year:
If you continue down the trail after it makes a sharp turn away from the road you will see an old roadbed leading back towards Berry road. If you follow this it will turn into a trail and if you soon find yourself headed steeply downhill you will know you are on the right path.

I believe there was also a small path leading straight ahead from where the trail takes this sharp turn away from the road, but I think it was clearer to proceed on down the trail and look for the road to the right and leading back towards the road. At the only real intersection turn left and you should begin downhill soon after.

Hopefully someone else will pipe in and confirm my memory.
