So, do they work as water diverters?
That's what I've read. I'll be more than happy to send some to you to try it out.
Here where I live in Wisconsin, the Kwik Trips (gas station, convenience store) used to sell milk in the bag. Not sure if they still do.
bread, yes...milk??? i'm still lost
it's really simple really
the milk is stored in transparent sealed plastic bags containing 1.3 litres of milk, they put 3 bags of milk in a larger plastic bag for transportation, and that bag is closed with those little clip thingies, so the big bag gets you 4 litres of delicious milk
we then put the 1.3 litre bag in a container (think if the container as a sheath for the bag) then cut one corner so the milk can come out!
it really is simple once your used to seeing it
Okay, I can't help myself! When I was growing up, all the milk bags were attached to the underside of cows just ahead of the rear legs (udder). They were conveniently provided with handles (properly "teats", but we just called them "t*ts") that you squeezed, forcing the milk out into a bucket. This happened without fail morning and night, whether you felt like it or not (known as a "chore").
I think you Canadians have vastly improved on this arrangement!

yes we have, you have to love technological advancements
plus it's less of a chore, and a lot cleaner, no by-products to clean up and a lot leaner but the downside is you can use it to make butter unless you buy the real creamy version which doesn't come in a bag
you really have to love the small cultural differences we neighbors have
thank you fred, for dragging me into the light....
