    I'm getting a JRB 11x10 for Christmas

At least I think I am. Mom asked me what I wanted I sent her the link. I have some of the STL's on my other tarp. Would they work with this one especially if you are trying to configure the tarp like this?

This is a great tarp. I used mine on a solo canoe trip for a week in the Boundary Waters last June.

One afternoon on the trip I experienced a 2-3 inch downpour in a two hour period and later that night sustained winds of 30-50 miles per hour which lasted all night and until I packed up the next morning. The tarp came through without damage... I was frankly surprised as the conditions were so extreme. I had homemade elastic tie outs on all points of the tarp and I'm sure this was a key factor.

Also, you absolutely have to seam seal the main seam or, better, have Jack's do it for you.

    Merry Christmas!

You will love it. I bought one last year. It is great protection. I also love the privacy it provides while at the HF hangs. Like your own private hotel room!

You will love the JRB 10 x 11, I do mine anyway. You can use the STLs in this configuration but the tarp will be higher off the ground, or, you can use extra stakes to make an STL runner; but again, once it stretches it will come off the ground a little bit.

Better would be to use existing mid-panel tie-outs or add grip clips and use the STLs on these. In this case stretch will lower the roof and widen the main room a little; but you keep a nice seal to the ground.

Better yet, would be to invest in some Warbonnet doors or Griz Beak Doors. The straight edge of the JRB 10 x 11 makes add-on doors seal up very well (no cat cut to deal with) and will give you more room under protection.

YUP YUP I got the tarp! Getting ready to play with it a bit in the backyard. Are there any links or vids that people can think of showing of different configurations with this?

I did a trial hang but no pics yet. I don't have a good hanging spot in my backyard (five foot fence). I am hoping to do a nice little day hike the next day or so. Thanks for the pics, others, keep them coming if you can!

I set mine up using 4 STL's for that configuration. For the ends/doors, I use some Wallyworld bungees and one stake shared for each door. The STL's held up fine in some decent wind and snow recently.
