    The contradiction of snow!

In my outdoorsman and hammock hanger mode I always look forward to snow and all the fun that it brings. In my normal daily life mode I dread all the shoveling and digging out. Not to mention having to deal with the careless drivers on snow covered roads. But as with everything else in life you have to take the good with the bad. So bring on the snow I'll play today and deal with it tomorrow!

Ha Roger that! So far we have 1/4" after 2 hrs of snow fall. Hopefully it gets stronger (im sick in the head) so I can get a chance to test out my atlas 1230 showshoes after 1 foot of snow hits and my event shells.

Dreading digging out my woman's car tonight and tomorrow morning. I have a Wrangler I need not dig!!!!

I love the snow. I feel like a child agian every time the lovely white stuff kindly drops in.
I decided that I would make the most of our Arctic winter we were forecast and ordered a set of snow chains for my van-I figured I would need them for the snowy Scottish back roads.
That was a month ago and they still haven't turned up, leaving me waiting for them to be delivered and probably delayed because of the snow as they were dispatched 2 weeks ago.
    Wretched snow! Grrr....
