I just ordered something very similar from Brian over at OES...

    MacCat Delux in SpinnUL

    Adds:
    - Dual side tarp pullouts
    - Reenforced loops mid-door (to button up during a storm)
    - Loops mid-ridgeline and mid-bottom edge (for the pole mod)

I'm hoping this will be the light, super versatile, 4-season tarp I've been waiting for.

FYI, you'll have to be patient and get a hold of Brian directly as the OES website doesn't give you these custom options. Also, Brian is out of Spinn right now.

That sounds pretty interesting! If you don't me asking, how much are you talking for custom extras? The more and more I think about it the more I like the idea of buying an Edge/MacCat Standard and worrying about the doors for next autumn.

I have a Deluxe and it provides great coverage, great choice! Been thinking about getting door's for it to close the ends for colder times, just haven't had the money but hope too soon!!!

I have ordered the same tarp except for the mid-door loops. I'm interested in how these work? Do you tie them together?

I just mailed off my MacCat Deluxe to 2QZQ today for doors. Extra weather protection and privacy that's always at the ready. Weight isn't a factor for me, but decreased "fiddle factor" and set-up time are. That's why I didn't go with separate doors. If I go to sleep under stars and wake up to clouds & rain, I can deploy & batten down the hatches easier.

i believe the edge is exactly half way between the standard and deluxe in width (84, 94, 104), and has the ridgeline even with the larger deluxe (132). (unless his dims have changed since i last looked at them.)

Warbonnetguy, I may not be understanding correctly. Is the edge 126" ridge line or is it 132"?

Also out of curiosity, would having side pannel pull outs (one or two of them) be beneficial for the edge tarp? Is it simply not wide enough to really make a difference?
