    Temp ranges question

I just had a chat session with Golite and asked about temp ranges for thier baselayer. Was told they don't have a range because results vary so much from person to person. My question is what do our people using these baselayers experience for comfort ranges.

I was looking at the golite rush pack, the sizes confuse me. Large is 19 1/2-21 1/2. From tail bone to bump on neck(according to the rep at golite). I use a medium backpack (compared to a long) Measured at Rei store so would I use a medium Rush pack. I am 5'9". I can't quite figure exactly where my tail bone and neck bone are.

Anybody had a ny experience with one of these packs?

    Thanks,

    Brian

Most likely the representative with whom you spoke misspoke. One does not measure from tailbone. Watch the video on this link to see exactly where to measure for torso length.

Last year I found a killer deal on an old style Ultra 20, and the regular was gone so I bought the long, and even though I'm only around 5'9" I was glad I got the long.
And my ultra lofts about like my other 30 deg bags. I have read, and I agree it is closer to a 30, and that is perfect for me. Be a tough call on which one of the new ones would be the best 3 season,..maybe the 40 back east and the 20 for Rockies/Cascades.

The coupon works, I just added a synthetic 40 deg quilt for $72. Hard to resist that price.

Thinking about ordering a Pursuit or a Jam2. Anyone have anything to say about either of these? I'm not too sure about the fabric only waistbelt on the Jam2, and I can't find ANY decent reviews on the Pursuit. I really want to know if the Pursuit framesheet is removable and replaceable with a sit/sleep pad.
