Traveled to my farthest horsehoeing client Monday . . .

My thoughts have been to arrive earlier like the day before, but late,
hang on the cliffs over looking the Kootenay Lake . . .
then getting up early to work on the horses.

Sunday night and Monday was suppose to be blowing strong, cold and snow . . .

All good test elements . . .
but my stuff hasn't been tested even close to those conditions.
so opt out this time.

But Monday turned out real nice calm even sunny, and everything went well enough . . .

Well until a cougar showed up only long enough to ryal the horses . . .

The owner said even a bear doesn't get them going like that.
Man that gelding strut, head high, and deep snorts . . .
The mare just pranced around and qwivered . . .
hard to work on a nervous horse, so finished making the shoes,
and she calmed down . . .

My next visit there will be in March . . . a little nicer weather
so I will do the hang thing . . .

But I will also, by then have an E-bear fence . . . and big eye balls sewn on my hammock
