    Potomac Question...

The wife and I have 2 Hennessy's, 1 Expedition and the other a Scout (yep we took advantage of the Xmas sale at Hennessy).

We really like the bottom entry and don’t see us having the zipper mod anytime soon. We really like the look of the fit of the Potomac and just want to make sure it will work with the Expedition Asym and the Non-Asym Scout?

I also want to make sure, that since we will not be getting rid of the bottom entry, that getting in and out of the Hennessy's will not be an issue?

You will be able to use the Potomic underquilt with the bottom entry. It works well. The Potomic was designed originally to work with a bottom entry.

I'm not sure how the Potomac will work on the Scout. My gal has the Scout as well and I'm tempted to use the no-sew PLUQ on the link below. I'm sure the Potomac will work but for close to the same weight you might save some $$$.

Indeed, the Hennesy is specifically what the Potomac was designed for & is cut to the asym shape the HH assumes when you are in it. It also has loops at the points of the HH tie outs. To enter, push the Potomac to the side, get in, the UQ will slide (snap?) back into place. To get out, push through the slit in the HH & using your leg, push the UQ to the side & step out.

I have never used mine on a HH as I do not have a Hennesy, but the above is from the original instructions that came with my Potomac years ago.
