I celebrated my 40th birthday by hiking and camping at 6000 feet in the mountain of western NC. Rex (my dog) and best friend Andy, hiked 10 miles on a closed Blue Ridge Parkway. We had a great trip. I hope the next 40 years have as many fun times, sweet mountain views, and great memories as the first 40 years. I am very thankful for all that God has blessed me with.

Man you're 40? I would have guessed somewhere in the 65 range.
Rex is one fine hiking dog. He'll swing your hammock when he thinks you're sleeping and then stick his nose in the sleeping bag. Good times.
