I just called Magna to ask about a small-ish order. They said that the reason a large order would be needed is because they don't actually have the ripstop in stock. The purchase it from elsewhere.
On the Magna website you can search for RIPSTOP (make sure its all caps) it will show you a selection of the riptstop available. Per the webpage they all have about 50% cotton in them.
The Nylon selection is HUGE. I have no idea if any of it is SILnylon.
I called them again about the SilNylon. He said that he gets it from time to time. It would cost about $1.00/yd. He says he gets lots of different colors, but right now (this time of year) is apparently hard to get the silnylon.
I would be interested in a group buy of some sil.
TRIPLE check before you order. They may be very misleading.
They also seemed to be in a HUGE hurry to get me off the phone. I guess my piddly information request is just not a "big enough fish"
Oh well. Still interested if we are doing a group buy of sil (brown, OD green, something stealthy)

Score! You inspired me to stop by mine tonight. Got some good stuff last time but was all coated, I want some uncoated 1.9 but wanted to check locally before ordering here. And I've never found any bug netting.
I have found TONS of bug netting, but never any sil. Every once in a while I find coated nylon. I have never found DWR ripstop at WW.
