New idea?

I'm probably either talking about something someone already thought of or giving away an idea I should patent but.....

has anyone thought of making a hammock with a UQ already built into it? Do any already exist? I got dibbs on that patent if there isn't one already!!

I was just thinking about this myself.. Only the idea I had, was to have the under quilt and over quilt were attched by velcro, and have different quilts for diff temp ranges. This way its all in one stuff sack, hammock, over and under quilt to go.

This is basically what the Speer hammock and SnugFit do. For a TQ, you want it do drape down around your body, so velcro would make it less efficient.

I often put all my stuff into one blackbishop bag, though...hammock, UQ, TQ, and hammock sock if I'm using it. Here's a pic of the setup I used at the Colorado Spring Hang down to 28F.

Saw WV's hammock at the Dolly Sods hang and his hammock is an UQ or sleeping bag or hammockquilt bag thing. Pretty impressive.

Yep.....something like that but was envisioning it more full length with the edges being seamless all around. Almost like taking a UQ and making it a hammock in and of itself.
