Dunno what part of town you're in, but the Wally World on Richmond Road that I scored the sil at has what appears to me to be 1.9 with DWR finish. I'm not 100% positive of it, but pretty sure that it's DWR. And it's silver gray color in the buck bin.

I'm going to the Nicholasville Rd and Northside stores tonight to look. I may buy if they have anything good. For the record, the new Hobby Lobby out past the county line has some ripstop, but not a huge selection.

Hooch, is your sil a ripstop product? Will have a chance to hit a few walmarts next week & don't want to miss an opportunity.

Yeah. What I was getting at is if one Walmart in an area has a material, then the others close to it are likely too. Whether it is DWR, Sil, or chainmail.
I was using the DWR in my area as an example. There are 4 or 5 walmarts around here, and they all have the silver DWR. Three of them have untreaded woodland green, and two have dwr woodland green. So you may have a good constant supply of Sil on your hand now.

I live in N.Y.(upstate) and travel the western part of the state fairly regularly. While I'm not a huge fan of Wally World, I do use it as a convenient rest stop on my wanderings. To date I have purchased approx. 300 yds of $1ripstop @ WW. I have only been able to find Sylnylon only once. I use the dwr and uncoated for all sorts of projects (I am Scoutmaster for a local Boy Scout Troop). I have had a hard time deciding what to use the 10 yds. of syl for. I just can't bring myself to cut it.

You know a Wal-Mart that has chainmail? Sweet!
