Now that's a good idea! What's wrong with multiple pif threads? Beats looking through what will become a really long post to see what's new.

    Just sayin...

You know Saint, that's a great idea. Sometimes there's just not enough coffee to get the old engine running as I should have thought of that.

Here's a quick background on my PIF. I purchased Stovemandan's Venom stove during his Black Friday sale and I screwed things up and he wound up sending me two sets of stoves - that's 4 total stoves. I told him I'd send the extra set back or have someone paypal him the money and I'd ship it to that person. Well, Stovemandan is such a stand-up guy that he said, play Santa Claus and pass them on to friends and have a great holiday. Now that is very cool customer service. Now that the craziness of the holidays have calmed down for me, it's time to pass on the good mojo. So, without further ado... here's my PIF:
1- Heine pot (sanded the label off)
1- Stovemandan Venom stove (coolest little alchy stove I've ever seen)
1- 4oz. fuel bottle (empty of course)
The Heine pot fits perfectly on top of the stove and the fuel bottle has a flip-top spout for filling the stove. Very cool setup.

    Please keep in mind:
    1. The item offered above is free but you must pay shipping
    2. You must also "Pay it Forward" by posting something free (must be worth the cost of shipping).
    3. Your "Pay it Forward" offer must come with the same terms as this one.
    4. Your "Pay it Forward" buyer must also post their own "Pay it Forward" item.
    5. 1st to post they want it gets it. Include your Zip to figure shipping
    6. Your "Pay it Forward" buyer must also require the next buyer to post their own "Pay it Forward" item (copy and paste these rules into your PIF post).

    I'll take it Syb.
    That's awesome.
I'll find something equally awesome to post for my PIF.

    Esbit stove PIF

Keeping the stove theme alive, I'll offer for free to the first person that wants to pay shipping for it, a German military issue Esbit stove.
Brand new, never used, with 2 bars of Pyrofix fuel.
I have a couple more of these and they work quite well.
Not ultralight kit, but simple and reliable.

Shipping will likely be after I return from a conference late next week.

    2. You must also "Pay it Forward" by posting something free (must be worth the cost of shipping).

Love the ideas and generosity guys. Makes me wish I needed a stove.

Mods, as these PIF themes seem to be recurring and very popular, may I suggest a forum for them so each one can be in its own thread. Sure would make it simpler to use an informative title and keep the size of each thread down.

The best approach is to simply put 'PIF' in the thread title.

I loved m esbit as a cub scout. This is the same design I used time and time again to burn and swallow scamble/burnt eggs. (cresit my skills at the time and not the stove for the product) Lite weight and extremely reliable. Fuel stored inside the folding setup when not in use. Great setup!

Sounds good to me. I'll take it if it is still available and I have a good idea what I'm going to do along the "stove" theme.

    Sending a PM..
