    Northern NY Trip Feb. 4-7

    http://www.zsny.org/wct/nny2011wct.html - informational webpage

We'll be camping out in very cold weather (one year it got down to -17.5F overnight during the trip) on this trip.

We had a great trip, with a big crew showing up to brave the cold and snow, and Festus and I snowshoed across the pond to hang one night on an island...we got 10+ inches of new snow overnight!

Festus the next morning, with a ton of new snow on the ground

My hanging setup for the night...it was a blast!
