"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver
Smokehouse
Very nice stove. Did you model it after the TiGoat? I am making a new design and would almost kill to find the material for the pipe that rolls like that. It looks eerily like the ones sold by TiGoat. Can you share where to buy the pipe metal? Pleeeeese?
Also, do you have the design specs for your "smokehouse"? That is probably the coolest (warmest?) shelter out there!
The Ti Goat uses .005" thk and 12" wide to make a 3" pipe. It's available at titaniumgoat.com as is the rest of the parts for the stack. You may also want to check onlinemetals. They may have it cheaper. It appears that once you "burn the pipe in", it will take that "measuring tape" shape allowing it to pop into place like in the OP's video.
I've been doing a little research as I would like to make one at the machine shop. Ti Goat want's a wee bit too much cash for my budget.

Tigoat and Kifaru.net both have stoves with the role pipe… I went with TIGoat because it was a Titanium stove and pipe (lighter) and it had a damper to control the fire better.
Smokehouse, I am so impressed with that little wood burning stove. Excuse me for being ignorant, but i have never seen it before. I assume you built it. Do you sell them or have plans for others to build one? Do you stoke it real good before you bed down to keep that 65* inside for awhile?
Great trip report! I am still blowen away by that stove.

Smokehouse mentioned that he got his stoves here. The small one is the one he has.

Love these videos! Looks like you guys had FUN!
Thanks for the great explanation of the stove, too! I've been in the market for one and this helps with some of the set-up questions I had.
