Un-hotel hanging

Well, I didn't use a hammock stand, rather, the configuration of the room worked out so I could hook on to the door frame of the bathroom on one end and then the adjoining door frame on the other.

I took my amsteel whoopies and set the length to get a decent hang. I say decent because it was just a bit short. Then I used a larkshead on the end of the whoopies to the toggle and slid that behind the door. When the door closes the amsteel sticks out but is held be the toggle. I did the same thing on the other end.

I was wondering if you can use a regular hammock like a grand trunk ultra light with those hammockstands from harbor freight and the other sports store?
