Talking about like on the BB?
If so, not a problem. The ridgeline on my Traveler looks just like the one on my Blackbird.

Trust nobody!
No, he's talking about like is described in this very tutorial thread, as per the original El Dorado with a knot on both the inside and outside of the whipping.
The Blackbird, and Traveler, are a little different. On those is a 4.5" loop tied on the end of the ridgeline that goes through the end whipping and surrounds the suspension lark's head.
Personally, I'd choose the latter method. But either works fine.

on a no-net, it might be easier to just make a ridgeline with a loop in each end and larkshead said loop to the base of the suspension line.
Hello Fellow Hangers!!! I am very new here and I have some questions about the technique just reveiwed. I will tell youwhat I think is going on and someone tell me if I am on the mark. The white line is the RL and runs from one end of the hammock to the other on the inside. So if you laid out the hammock and opened it up you would see the white line inside the hammock. The knots at the end (both ends), one is inside the other outside and when you tie the whipping it secures the RL on both ends. Is that right?
Next question is now how is the hammock suspended? Is a whoopie sling added over the ends next to the whipping then attached to the webbing(tree)?
Thanks.
