there is an entire off topic area where things non hammock related go, to see it become a donating member. well worth the $10 (if for nothing else to see Water Monkey in a skirt, i mean kilt, and my $7 awesome propane stove thing)
it went there, and donating members can see it! there is sections dedicated to general off topic, food, paddling, backpacks, clothing and other gear.

it deals with cooking, which is a general topic of food. not hammocks or the gear DIRECTLY related to it (suspension, tarps etc)
it keeps the purpose of this site organized and to the point. simply put, anything hammock related on hammock forums is free to see. if it wanders to cooking or otherwise general camping, it will be moved to the appropriate subforum.

+ Whatever.I was initially hesitant to become a donating member, much as I have been with BPL. BUUUT: I pulled the pin and will now never look back, there is a TON of info in the donating section, and the same nice, polite people to offer feedback. Seriously, don't pay for coffee for one work week (or two days, depending on your preferred brew) and put the money here, it is SO worth it.
