    Stake storage ??

What do you all do to store / carry your stakes when hiking.

    In pack

In pack in some kind of bag / sack

    Outside pack

    With tarp (I wouldn't think that's a good idea )

I've tried using a small soft glasses bag thingy but the vargo 6" Ti nails I use now eventually have punched through the bottom

My tarp goes into the snakeskins, I fold them up and wrap the ridgeline around it. I then run the hook end under one of the wraps of ridgeline to hold them all together. Haven't had a problem with it yet, but I've considered tying them together and throwing them in a pocket on my pack somewhere too.
