Sold; Dumpster Mutt LE, by Scrap Yard Knifes

    SOLD
It has taken me a while to get to the point of selling this knife. It's a great knife & really feels good in my hand.
But times are tough, so here goes.
It's been used some but IMO it shows very little wear other than cosmetic.
A good cleaning, sharpening & perhaps polishing will have it looking near new in no time.
An *extremely* tough knife, made by the company that prides it's self on making the finest 'hard duty' knifes. I'm not sure how it works beyond the original buyer, but it is sold w/ a lifetime, "no questions asked" guarantee that if you damage it, they'll replace it for free.
Whether that would be available to you or not, I couldn't say, but it still says something about the quality of the steel & workmanship.

    This is on their website
Our guarantee is simple. We warrant your knife against any and all unintentional MAJOR damage for life. The Scrap Yard guarantee is on the knife and NOT just for the original owner

I went to the site and really like the dog father . . .

I particularly liked what they had to say about the sheath . . .

It features a unique thumb push ramp for quiet and easy one handed removal of your blade
without having to pull your pants up to your forehead to remove your knife.

I hadn't noticed that about the sheath, but you're right, I can push the sheath away w/ my thumb helping the knife slide out easy.

They wouldn't be able to "replace" the knife, because it was a limited edition.
When it was available, it sold for 129.00 w/o the custom sheath.
I'm going to lower the price to $180.00

    Yeah, me too
About the only test I've put it to is chopping on a 2x4. No bigger than the knife is, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it cut into the wood, even though it's not as sharp as it could be.
And just from the careful finger test, I couldn't tell that it lost any of it's edge.
