Other than the obvious, any particular reason to order the camoflage model over the standard green NX-250?

Probably will help if you decide to sell it down the road.
The camo-junkies are pretty serious in their addiction. Makes them a wonderful demographic for selling stuff.
Trust nobody!
Camo is good for navigational enhancement. You've got to know where you are and be able to get back to the camp because you might not see it.

Certainly here in the UK and parts of Europe camo is very useful as it's not legal in many places to wild camp. The more hidden you are the better and a camo tarp and hammock is pretty near invisible in pine forest unless you know what you're looking for.
It's also nice to blend into the scenery rather than sticking out like a throbbing thumb with some brash lime green kind of ensmble. Many people here choose camo or dark greens and dark browns for this purpose. The Americans may laugh at the camo choice, but it's nothing to do with "tacti-cool" as someone above put it, there is a real reason to use it. I have zero desire to be some kind of military wannabe, it just suits my purposes perfectly.
I like my camo.
I think the "tacti-cool" reference is not use as a slight, but more a wordy pun. Here in the states there is a huge trend for bags/packs/outdoor equipment to be "tactical" in nature. Doesn't mean we want to be a wanna-be, but I think average joe views items tuff enough for field operations means it's tuff enough for me.
I have a white tarp coming, with a bright blue hammock, but I'd like to also have a camo one.
Look up before you hook up!!

Initially when I got my Claytor, I was not a huge fan of camo because of the military association. (Reasons I won't go into). Yet, after having it, I appreciate the fact that I feel "non-intrusive" when I use it. I like blending in the environs and being able to observe without being observed.

It's less obvious when birds decorate your tarp, or sap drops on it, or the person hanging next to you starts throwing mudballs in the middle of the night to silence your snoring, or......
