    Diagonal lay in Nano 7?

I just got a GT UL and I can't believe how much I like it (once I put Dynaglide whoopies on it).

I am looking at a Nano 7 but it is a smaller hammock still at 9' x 4'. Will there be any trouble getting a decent diagonal lay? I am 5'9" and 185#.

I also have the GT Ultralight -- I slept in it just the other night -- I love it.

I also have the GT Nano. It is a bit small; yes you can get diagonal. You just have to play with the hang. I actually hang the Nano tighter than the recommended 30° to get the comfort I want.

While I do like the Nano, I've been taking the Ultralight out more because I've already had to fix a few holes in the Nano and I can't afford to replace it, so I'm reluctant to take it out much.

    Oh, I should mention - I'm 5'10" and 165 lbs.

I have a Nano and am pretty much the same size and weight as you, and I find that I can get a decent lay (not as great as my GT UL) and my feet are very, very close to the edge when I try and lay on a good diagonal! I had an adjustable ridgeline on mine and played with it for a while until I found the right comfort, which coincidentally is waaayyyy different than the GT UL!

Those are the measurements on the GT site.

I believe that is the finished length, from what I measured in my report.

I am 5' 9" 175 lbs. I too like the Nano-7 pitched tighter than 30 degrees. I have an adjustable ridge line and have it set at 97". Works for me.
